University aims: Well-rounded students

A leading university is trying to develop its students into more well-rounded individuals. A spokesperson told Straight Times that standards here are way below that of American standards, especially in the midwest. She said, "Our students are too thin. Everyone looks malnourished. We must show the world that we are a prosperous nation and that our citizens are happy and well fed."

The decision looks to have brought up some protest from some students. When interviewed by the Straight Times, Miss Ai Zi Bing commented, "A lot of my friends are complaining why we need to be so well-rounded. Everyone should do what they are good at what. This is discrimination to people who are under 40kg like me. So what if i have been wearing the same underwear since i was in primary 4?"
